My Real Job

I’m in charge of two major holdings, and I spend all day making a series of (seemingly) small decisions that can have a huge impact on them.  If the timing of each decision is off, it may have disastrous consequences, leading to a Bad Day.

Or even a Really Bad Day.

But the behavior of our holdings – and the market as a whole – often seems random.  While mistimed or bad decisions usually end up badly, they occasionally result in a Good Day.  Sometimes our holdings both have Good Days, sometimes one has a Good Day and the other a Bad Day. When they’re both doing well, it’s easy to come out ahead.  But on some days I’m just looking to minimize my losses.

My name is Bill, and I’m not into the stock market…I’m a stay at home dad.
